The Chair of Joy
It’s big, it’s orange, it’s comfortable and it brings joy to all who sit upon its fuzzy goodness! The Chair of Joy is a replica 1958 Egg Chair designed by Arne Jacobsen. It lives in our office and is an essential part of day to day life at Heaton Property.
For every person that has their photograph taken on the chair we donate a can of food to a local charity called ‘I Can Feed’.
They are a group of people working really hard to eradicate food poverty in the North East. So far we’ve collected over 1000 cans for them.
Photos of all the lovely people that have graced the Chair of Joy get put on our Wall of Joy in the office. So, next time you’re passing the office pop in and experience the Chair of Joy!
